If you ring British Gas and agree to take out their HomeCare 200 policy (from £12.50/month) they'll come out and fix it for free. We've kept the policy a couple of years now and it's been a godsend (replaced motherboard on boiler, replaced leaking fitting) that has saved us at least £750.
Cover includes:
* Repairs to central heating boiler, controls, radiators, pipe work and hot water system.
* Unlimited callouts per contract year.
* Parts and labour included.[2]
* Annual service of your boiler with a safety and energy efficiency check.
* Replacing your boiler if it is less than 7 years old and cannot be repaired. 10 years if installed by British Gas and you have had a continuous cover agreement for the life of the boiler.
* Manned customer breakdown line 24/7.
* Over 7000 highly qualified Gas Safe (formerly CORGI) registered engineers.
* Collect Nectar points.
* Accidental damage because accidents happen. |

IT would appear your name as taken on a new meaning 
But on a serious note boil the kettle and a few pans of water it might take a while but at least you'll get a hot bath |
