YSL - I’m telling you, won’t regret making that decision.
Sweet with a long lasting smell, outlast 99% of fab’s stamina.
I don’t like going for ‘common’ smells or the typical chit you see all the men going for, when a woman walks past me - she’ll 2nd look, just for the smell |

"Dior - Sauvage"
Best graffiti I've seen in years was when some wag changed the V to an S on the billboards for this aftershave. Used the same font too. Bloody genius. |

Juniper sling by penhaligons
Boss bottled
And sometimes when it’s the right situation fragrance du Bois, it’s too expensive to buy the 100ml bottles so I buy the 15ml.....it only gets used on special occasions. |

"creed aventus nothing comes close "
I got a copycat fragrance of this, after reading thousands of reviews saying it smelt identical to Creed. The reviews were all giving it 5*.
I haven’t received a single comment from a male or female since I wore it, lol. |

‘YSL - Y Eau De Parfum’ which is the darker bottle, it’s also the slightly stronger richer smell than the ‘YSL - Y Eau Fraiche’ which is the sweeter of the two.
Either one you can’t go wrong, it’s my go-to when I’m going anywhere. Savage, Creed all overused I found. I like a woman having to ask what smell that is |

As you can see from above,
every d*ck and his dog wear the same half a dozen fragrances
Same on a night out, all you can smell is over powering mid life crisis desperation.
For that reason, I just wear Lynx..

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
I use them KFC wetwipes. All lemony and fresh. Combined with my sweaty desperation, its a winning combo.
Chanel Egoiste
Gucci Envy, discontinued sadly but I have an almost full bottle, I think... I haven't seen it in a while actually
Dolce & Gabbana the One edp although it is weak as hell

"Aventus - Creed
Gentleman - Givenchy
Terre de Hermes - Hermes
My top 3 for a man smelling great
Nice choices
I’m very particular with smells lol
Can’t stand Sauvage
And Joop makes me gag " Agree on Sauvage. It's not that it smells bad, as it doesn't. For me, it's just everywhere you go you smell it.

I’m a sucker for aftershave and have quite a large collection, a lot depends on the weather for me.
Creed aventus or Green Irish t for hot weather, during the winter Tom Ford Tuscan leather is my favourite. |

"I love the smell of Joop on a man! " I found it cloyingly sweet! Having said that I was bought a bottle and used it all up, mostly as my office fragrance even though its far too deep for that. I just wanted to use it up so that I wouldn't have to wear it again! The dry down is a lot better than the opening which is in your face. But I think a lot of women prefer the warmer, sweeter scents on a man.

I smelt one on someone in Sainsbury’s the other day. He was the nicest smelling man I’ve ever come across, even from 2m! I have no idea what it was he was wearing but it made my face do this |

I'm quite happy that my top 3 haven't been mentioned. I'm going for:
1) YSL - Le nuit de l'homme
2) Armani - Aqua di Gio profumo
3) D&G - The one
Also rans are Chanel - Allure homme sport eau extreme and Dior Homme intense. If you like the 'blue' fragrances but don't want to pay silly prices, check out Versace - Dylan blue. For those on a budget that want something cheap and cheerful go for CK - Shock.
If you want to start a collection, watch Jeremy Fragrance on YouTube. He has some great advice. |

Since he launched his own brand of fragrances he puts in little effort into his content and is heavily criticised for his pricing strategy. Also, he is acting totally weird in some of his videos and comes across cringey. Have you watched Gents Scents' channel? Or Aaron Terence Hughes who looks at fragrances from a different perspective particularly on a technical level and craftsmanship. |

Yeah, I agree with you. He's selling his brand now. He's a good starting point for those getting into the hobby though.
Yes, once you get into it you can take it to the next level and look at the craftsmanship side of things and appreciate it more. It's like watches. |

I used to do something called FM fragrances on the side to earn a bit of extra money. The fragrances are amazingly similar but the company is a right joke and it was definitely a pyramid scheme despite what they said |

I've compared the original aventus creed and a copy (bought hubby original and copy to wear for work) and the copy smells the same but doesnt last for long. If I dont use fabric softener I can still smell the genuine one even after I've washed his clothes. |

"Farenheight all day long the smell of it gets my pussy twitching mmmmm" There is a bit of a revival amongst the fragrance community surrounding this. The original formulation is better as with all fragrances but the fact that this is a best seller after all these years makes me curious about this. Once shops reopen I might go for a sniff...

"Penhaligons anyone? Nothing like the heavy fragrances associated with 'bloke', really unusual."
Bloody love Penhaligons, mostly fell in love with Quercus years ago so share it with my man (he didn't like their Lily of the Valley so much haha). He smells great in Blenheim Bouquet, miss him in Lords/Douros. Have a teeny sample of Cousin Flora that I've eked out on bad days in lockdown. |
