3-4 weeks is not along time but it will take some getting used to. I would have a look around and try get on the fits really snug you don't want to much room as that can be worse and I have found if I have to much room I am more likely to get hard and it cause pain but also to tight is not good.
When it comes to peeing he will need to sit down and will need to wipe round the edge of the pee hole. You can go down two routes either padlock or number lock. If he is home I would defo say padlock but being away he will need to clean it so the number lock means he will be able to brake the seal and clean it.
If you are going with number lock you will need to probably film it or vid call to make sure he is not cheating. The number lock also solves the air port issue |

Really good advice. I'd add that if you're new to chastity it's really good to work up from an hour or two at a time, to overnight, to a full day etc. as it's a big adjustment.
Also never ever ever be in a situation where he can't get it off in case of emergencies (it might hurt him, or restrict blood flow for example). Numbered locks are perfect for this as you can just snip it off and all is well.
In terms of what material, I find plastic is the comfiest for long term wear, as well as of course being the most lightweight, but metal 'birdcage' devices are far more breathable and (in my opinion) much more attractive.
I'd look at the CB6000-S, since it's super adjustable and your partner looks to be a big boy. The Holy Trainer range is good too, and has an inbuilt lock so no need for padlocks.

As long as you are not buying one of those cheap metal ebay jobs. Get a genuine model polycarbonate one like a cb600 or holy v4 trainer or our personal favourite the vice mini (they do a large and standard too) |

Slaves has been on your years. Literally not a single unlock for probably 2 years now. We have been using chastity around 6 years.
We found the CB6000 useful as a starter/measuring device. The seam became umcomfortable after a while. This was the first device we used and he had to break out of it through discomfort at one point. Silicone lube helps.
The Holytrainer was more comfortable for longer term wear.
With the plastic devices, hygiene was difficult but not impossible, lots of cotton buds!
Permanent device is a custom fit device, the company name escapes me right now. The steel is much more practical, with no joins etc....but you get what you pay for. This was probably £400. Slave still cleans daily with a silicone cotton bud, dries with a hairdryer and a quick swipe at the base of sudocrem.
Our best advice is...you are smaller than you think you are! Smaller means less swelling and therefore less discomfort or jiggling. Slave had ridden bikes etc whilst caged.
There was an occasion he was at a conference with potential for security checks. He took a key in a sealed envelope, with my writing across the seal. It came back unopened!

There is some good advice here, and yes 1 month should be easy as long as you have the right cage. I began with plastic, the cb3000, which was fine for a beginner but I found it would smell after a few days and the cage was actually too big so would lead to partial erections which could prove to be uncomfortable. I moved to stainless steel, and a smaller cage which has made things more comfy, more hygienic and has lead to me spending more time in my cage, 1 yr 3 months was my longest time locked. |
