Send a message only to find the message hasn’t sent, as it has just been deleted.

It's not a bar, again I'm still not obliged to say hello. If I want to ignore someone.. I have the right to.
Maybe that person makes me feel uncomfortable, I dont want to say hello, I dont like the look of them or I'm d*unk and dont notice.
But this isnt a bar, and maybe I've made my decision that I dont want to reply because I'm not interested and replying would be its own drama. |

Sometimes when I haven’t been on for a while, I just do a mass delete of messages. Very refreshing to see all those yellow rows disappear. Maybe send one more message just to check? |

I have done this before. Send another message to check if it had been received, to them get ‘fuck off, stop hounding me’ as a reply. I sent one message then one more three days later!
I get some may get hundreds of messages a day, but why not just cut and copy a ‘thank you but not interested’ message to those who you are not interesting on that have actually bothered to write a proper message to you.
From personal experience, if I have actually taken the time to write a personal message without just saying ‘fancy a shag’ then I do think that out of courtesy the recipient could at least just say they are not interested.
Again. Personal opinion and I guess I don’t have to reply to hundreds a day either lol |

I try and politely reply to messages even though I get a lot (and I don't get as many as some on here), but when someone send me a message telling me what they want to do to me before they've even said hello or introduced themselves, then yes, I do delete it, I'd they are going to be rude then so am I.

What if the message hasn't been seen. I currently have 357 unread messages. Most of those I can't see anymore because fab doesn't let me see them. So I may do a bulk delete. It's not about superiority it's about practicality.

I have 65 unread messages in my inbox, I will probably bulk delete them soon. Nothing personal I just haven’t got the energy or inclination to read them. I’m sure it’s the same for many others too. |

I really do get the frustration. If people would only read profiles. I'm very clear about what I'm looking for, and if I only received messages from those who genuinely felt they were what I was looking for, I'd be able to read them all and reply, showing politeness and manners. But instead, people from all over the country message me and clog up my inbox, spoiling it for those people who I might actually connect with.
It's frustrating both ways, and I do understand OP's point of view, but it's not because girls are being rude. Far from it. |
