im bored of it all, be glad when it's all over to be honest
Not a killjoy but I feel the amount of money spent would have been best served elsewhere, I think it will only benefit those in and around the south east. |

Football starts one week today so the lympics can get lost. As for Her Maj's 60th - we're having a BBQ on monday weather permitting. That'll do for that. |

im not interested in either...plenty of old people around the country have been struggling to live for years...they should be celebrated...not an old lady who has lived a life of priviledge...she never had to struggle home from tescos on a cold day with her shopping

MTV movie awards Sunday night and then E3 Monday throughout the week, both far more interesting. |

I hate that stuff as well but MTV movie awards is fun. Its not like other award shows, voted by the public. Usually make some awesome piss take sketches of the latest films, fun speeches. I've watched since 96.
Nothing like Oscars or baftas |

Personally I couldn't care less about either, if people do then good for them but having to see it everywhere just makes me go from not caring to hating it. The royal wedding was worse since that had even less to do with the rest of britain but this is still pretty damn annoying. |

Not interested in either, and too much money has been wasted, for the wrong reasons.
The Olympics is a huge commercial thing now, and individuals and groups being banned from using anything wildly associated with olympics is offensive, and against us.
The money spent on flotillas etc, for such a wealthy individual, at a time when there are so many in poverty, incl disabled people losing benefits, and taking their own lives as they have no income etc, is so beyond my sense of what's reasonable. At a time when the NHS is starved of cash, the govt is talking of privatising education etc, money would benefit the country as a whole if it was spent more fairly and wisely. |

Off to the cinema to watch Prometheus tomorrow, Kestrels Sunday, Abfabs Sunday night, Kestrels again Monday, Abfabs again Monday night and then watching some big beautiful ships sail out of Southampton on Tuesday .... seems like we're celebrating something but don't think it's the Jubilee. Might have something to do with the fact we've both got a week off work |

i know its your opinion, but with that diatribe, when a simple no would have sufficed, makes me thank christ we're not a republic. |

The jubilee is a load of nonsense to me, "yeah lets celebrate having an unelected head of state for 60 years", the monarchy is outdated, bigotted shite.
Cant really be bothered with the olympics either, although i hope team GB get humiliated at the football. |

jubilee, apparently its great for business according to an interview i heard on the radio the other day.
