Y'know those cakes where people eat the cake and then they go on FB and put an update about how that cake was amazeballs, whatever the hell that means, and that it was better than sex?

I have a Jamaica ginger cake which can be sliced & put in the oven until just getting crispy. In the fridge there is a choice. A tub of fresh custard or squirty cream. Enough to tempt you Ivy? We could do lots with squirty cream & Sophie lol.  |

I've made dark choc and mint little cake things, sponge cubes with minty cream and chocolate coating.
I don't think they taste quite right but I started drinking at half 6 so I've either cocked something up while baking or the cocktails are making things taste funny.
Be gutted if they're rank when I eat them sober, it's the first time I've had flour in a long time so I'd hate to have wasted it. |
