One I have mused upon for many a year.

I had previously used self generated questions to discover some of the great mysteries of our time.

BUT I have yet to find a suitable answer to this one!

"Do I love to love because it's love or would I love anyway"?

"Just love anyway!"
Explain?

Just love anyway.

I will explain:

I had just turned 16, and a punk walks into my parents pub. Immediately I felt a pull to him, love at first site, we flirted for 3 months, then eventually were together 8 years, married and had 2 children.

Now, at 16 I did not know what love was, so I did not love because I loved to love, I just loved.

The best love is the one that make you a better person, without changing you into someone other than yourself!

Depends on the type of love your talking about. The love of a partner or the love of a child. They to me are completely different kinds of love.

Self hate is the biggest issue in this world. We see others the way we see ourselves. So if you love yourself, you tend to love others. If you hate others, you tend to be judgmental, disliking others and carry around the baggage of all those negative energy around you!

I have come to the conclusion that each individual's experience is different. Though your story is explainable to YOU using MY method because it is MY method YOU may have left things out.

There are moments which mark your life. Moments when you realise nothing will ever be the same and time is divided into two parts. Before this and after this!

On a mooch

For me there are different types of love...

The first is unconditional from birth, child to parents / grandparents and vice versa.

Friendship love, a closeness you have to friends that is earned over the years and they become like family.

Then (and to me the rarest) is to love a partner, doesn’t happen naturally, has to grow over time, you need to learn to trust, allow them into your life, your thoughts

Finally, self love. If you cant be comfortable with who you are, how can you expect someone else to love you for you

So it’s both you are born to love, but you have to learn to love in other aspects of your life

You never love for the sake of it.

Love is about feelings, emotions, its sacred and without it lifes meaninless.

You know that instant it happens because no other feelings compare to it. It is better to have loved a little then never to have love at all xx

I will let this go uncommented on as it sounds deep and good...but I personally don't think it needs to be that hard!

Yes love can be odd. It pops along when you might not expect it. I wasnt and it happened. Wasnt looking for love at all. Thats why it still is a revelation to me as I wasnt looking for it.

There are different types of Love, 7 in fact. Love is a reaction of you psyche in relation to your body. Some would say love is a condition and yes heart break is an actual thing, people can really die from it.

Your answer lies in the art of loving book by Erich Fromm;

Love is a decision, it is a judgment, it is a promise. If love were only a feeling, there would be no basis for the promise to love each other forever. A feeling comes and it may go. How can I judge that it will stay forever, when my act does not involve judgment and decision.
