The late Hurrican Smith. Didnt have a great singing voice, but i loved listening to him when in my teens.he actually worked with the Beatles amongst others so was quite talented.

As mentioned Dylan, it doesn't matter entirely provided you have a very distinctive voice, with Dylan it's more of a drawl but it does suit the songs. Might explain why so many have covered his material also
