The forums are full of a colourful range of topics from the bizzare to the inanely deep.
But for some, threads of the same topic keep reoccurring and cause the odd eye roll. Of course newer members cant be blamed as they're unaware of previous postings, but what thread topic would you definitely place in the bin from the forums?
Kiss,snog,avoid? They're a gap filler?
Married and cheating? A hot potato but you do get some interesting perspectives?
What do you think needs binning?? |

Fab straight variations
All of those, and more, have been done to death in my time here - but as you say as new people join it's inevitable the same topics will appear - I'm with DC though and would much prefer that a site for adults found "adult" ways of discussing topics regardless of how often they appear

When a thread is started for men “Men what would you do ...” and then one springs up for women “women what would you do ...” let’s just have one.
Any threads that the soul purpose is to cause upset and using ‘behind the scenes’ conversations for personal gain and where all their mates can join in.
Any threads which are specifically about another fab user - they often don’t want it although I do like birthday threads.
I’ll be honest though, I would keep all the silly stuff  I like them  |

I hate threads that try to dictate what other threads should or shouldn't be about and also threads that talk about what other people find annoying in other threads....  |

Probably some of the dafter ones or the ones where an interesting thread is taken over by two people who could PM each other.
I miss the threads of Estella and Tea Monkey and Lickety (as examples). They were thought provoking and people would interact with each other as well as providing interesting insights into their perception. I liked their inclusivity as well - not replying to everyone isn't compulsory obvs but I think it's nice when people do. Not many do nowadays. |

Personally I'd get rid of threads that on the face of it are inviting discussion of something, but are in fact just a ploy to get others to reinforce the OPs previously held narrow views / opinions |

Sometimes the thread title suggests the topic, but the opening post sets it out quite different. So the thread starts off in a kackhanded manner.
All credit to the starter who attends throughout the thread and in some way chairs the discourse. So many topics get abandoned or turn to arguments as folk try to find a purpose to the thread.
Some are just great fun. |
