The only limiting factor on here OP is you, not your age - get it right and it won't guarantee a thing but you'll enjoy using the site, get it wrong and you'll find it a chore.
I joined when I was 51 and have no complaints whatsoever about my experience.

I’m almost 60 - no hair, overweight and only 5’9 but I am managing - somehow
I guess it’s a matter of being patient, realistic and above all “ real” - keep Woking at it as there are the right people out there for you if you look hard enough

I’m 65 and I’ve never had a meet from messaging on here. I have,however, learned about clubs and when I’ve attended there, I have enjoyed socialising and sometimes maybe flirting with ladies (and occasional couples) has bought a great deal of success and enjoyment. I don’t intend that to change. |

Any chance is better than no chance. I joined more to find out about the club scene in the uk but I actually enjoy the forums most. Nice seeing like minded people interact with each other.
For me this is about research so when I go to a club I kind of have a better understanding.
Stop thinking about the chance of getting laid enjoy the site and remember it's a swingers site not tinder hookup site

Seriously op - your profile on fab - whatever your age or gender - is your marketing and advertising opportunity.
The better it is, the more chance you have of getting meets.
Look at it and ask yourself - if I were a woman, would I meet me?
Make sure your pictures are flattering but not deceiving. Clothes should be smart, hair tidy or ‘sexily scruffed’ if that suits you - and penis pics - should you wish to display them - should be kept to a minimum.
Always check the background in your pics is tidy and that you suck your tummy in and your shoulders back when taking body shots.
Re the profile text - ask yourself ‘what can I offer that a 25 year old guy with perfect abs can’t?
The answer is generally (but sadly not always I’ve found) a greater level of sophistication, more varied conversation, greater life experience resulting (hopefully) in you being more interesting, and the ability to laugh at oneself where appropriate. Essentially - you’re possibly going to be a better dinner companion/all night and breakfast next day companion than a fuck and go prospect - so focus on that!
In bed I’ve met great lovers of all ages so I won’t generalise - but I’m sure you know where your skills lie. Try to articulate them without sounding arrogant.
And remember - when they open up again - clubs and socials are a great way to meet people and get the ball rolling.

Most forumites have spent many hours on theirs over the years - taking plenty of imaginative and current pictures- and writing and re-writing profile text to make sure it states what they offer and what they’re looking for.

. As a 52 year old single guy who can’t accommodate and not the most photogenic I don’t get much success by sending messages. I realise that a lot of people have their age filters set at 50 so there is no point getting upset just respect their preference and move on. I have more success by attending socials , attending members only club and attending a spa. I also have exchanged messages and met with other forum users with who like the way I come across on my posts.Just be respectful , polite and level headed and you will be fine.
