Reading with a tablet in the sun

Sun is out and I like to make the most of it like most of you.

But when it comes to reading a book on my tablet, the sun glare doesn't help.

Any of you have any recommendations what to do. I have already done the brightest on the tablet.

I can only read on my phone or a hard copy book in the sunlight. Does kindle paper white show up well in the sun?

Literally just sat with my Paperwhite in a sunbeam to have a look... yes

In the sunlight with the screen light off it just looks like a book would.
