I love it when someone recommends a song that I end up loving. But as I’m such a weirdo, let’s all share a song we hate/ find annoying below because... we’ll just because really.

Anything by Adele has the same effect "

Anything by Sam Smith makes me want to rip my ears off and smash the nearest object. That attention seeking, pointless, waste of space really boils my piss.
If you can’t tell, I deeply dislike Sam Smith. |

It's raining men by the Weather Girls or Bryan Adams Summer of 69, make me want to scream, i managed a bar that played those songs as part of the playlist, everyday, more than once a day for 6 years!!!!
I am coming out in hives just thinking about it!! |

This sounds like something out of ‘the good place’ on Netflix (spoilers beyond this point) when they’re really in the bad place |

Their songs are thought up by the devil. In case you were wondering if there’s Satan or not, explain these guys! Amirite |

"Dancing in the moonlight and cake by the ocean are songs I wouldn't miss if I never heard them again "
Dancing in the moonlight used to come on every shift I did at co-op when I worked in my final year of uni. It definitely motivated me to finish my degree and get out of there!! |

Fairytale of New York. There I said it.
Genres? Anything of the current fashion for auto tuning the hell out of any song. These guys may be able to carry a tune (& not in a bucket) but who would know.
Adele..shouter. |

I'm with you wholeheartedly, but "no promises" was playing in the background when my wonderful FWB was sucking me off for the first time, so it I reluctantly give it a reprieve! |

Being a cover, Dancing In The Moonlight is not their best song, nor the one they deserve to be remembered for.
Achille Heel, however, is a fantastic track and far superior |

"This thread is seriously making me consider if I have shit taste in music majority of songs listed I have on my

"Another nomination for Come On Eileen. Dexy’s made songs that were massively better and for them to be best known for this drivel is a travesty."
Kevin Rowlands is a genius. Come on Eileen a bit of a millstone. A good pension millstone, but anything off Young Soul Rebels is superior. Too Rye Aye as an album is pretty good though. |

Did you forget guns 'n' Rose's? "
I'd managed to block them from my memory, thanks for putting them back |

I have to admit, Toploader are my guilty pleasure and I even have them booked to play a gig later in the year (not that it will be happening now I imagine), but that Moonlight song is fucking gash. As previously mentioned, Achilles Heel is a proper tune, and there third album, Only Human, is brilliant. |

I feel the same about 'the whole of the moon', the Waterboys have some great albums full of brilliant tunes, but this is the go to track every time |
