"Unfortunatly there are always gonna be people who abuse every system, I don't approve of keeping other nationalities out but sometimes I do think that they need to crack down on stuff like this."
By keeping them out? |

I dont believe in not leaving foreigners in but i do firmly believe if they can t find work within 3 months they should be sent home or a agency should be set up in the E.U to move foreigners who seek employment to countrys that have a stable working economy that can handle the social strain. |

I work in recruitment.
When we post an ad for staff, we always get responses from Polish, Czech and increasingly Romanian and Bulgarian candidates.
So, some of them do actively look for work, and moreover when they are placed in work, they turn up and get on with it.
There are chancers in every nationality, this one just happened to be Polish.
Can I just add that I am neither pro or anti-immigration, and I do think somewhere along the line a deal has to be struck to stem all intra-european migration.
I am just trying to add some balance to what was a seemingly biased opening comment. |

I have to say I worked with many polish and romanians during my time as a delivery driver. They all worked so hard and so many hours.
Unfortunately its just not in some peoples make up to work like that. And actually we have a lot of brittish that say they can't get work. It's not because the jobs aren't there, its just some won't do what are perceived as lesser jobs.
I stop at a lot of hand car wash places on my travels and they are all polish working long days for little rewards. |

One word mentioning nationality in the opening comment doesn’t mean its biased you could equally point the finger at being pissed or manipulating the benefit system. I could equally say you are trying to make this thread into a race or nationality issue.

OK, maybe the OP didn't mean that, but that was certainly the way the thread was heading.
That said, I still have my reservations about it not being a racial thread from the start.
The word 'polish' stuck out for me as it evidently did some other posters.
Coupled with 'pissed' and 'manipulating the benefit system' then it did come across as a dig at foreign nationals obtaining benefits in the UK.
For the record, I have no interest in making any threads 'political' but I will interject if I feel that some balance is required. |

It's very presumptuous to say that was the way the thread was heading based on the first post. To me it looks very much like you were steering in down a racial past. I have only pointed this out because I feel balance is required as the word pissed stuck out on the initial thread to me. |

We have had similar at work with people under the influence turning up after being sent by the jobcentre. I wish they wouldn't bother as it wastes everyone's time. |

What good would it do for me to make a thread 'racial' ?
I keep my politics well out of these forums as it is one area that is usually incendary.
At the end of the day, it boils down to interpretation and only the OP could clarify his intent.
It could have been solely to add 'detail' to the situation, but I interpreted it one way, as did other posters and you interpreted it another.
Either way, Ruggers raises a valid point so have my final say in this thread now |

Unless I am reading these posts totally wrong I thought Bussy was trying to balance the previous posts out which had indeed sounded like the race issue was being brought up.
Anyway, let's drop it as anyone can chance their arm. |

Yeah, sure, just the first post:
"I don't approve of keeping other nationalities out but sometimes I do think that they need to crack down on stuff like this."
" i do firmly believe if they can t find work within 3 months they should be sent home"
And you think Bussy was the one starting the race slant in this thread? Did you read any of what anyone else posted? |

This is merely stating a fact. Nothing racist here, unless people want to turn into just that |
