This is something I've mused over before, but it's very difficult to put it into words without using sweeping generalisations. I'll try my best!
Why is it that, in general, men seem to be more concerned about willies than women? How big they are, whether other people's are bigger, what women are looking for, what size and shape is best.
I don't see the same level of interest in vaginas. Sure, some people like to see them, but I've never had anyone request a pic before they meet me to see if I fit their criteria.
Is this a fab thing, or a general thing?

Maybe the thousands of FAB profiles specifying "BBC/BWC/Hung only need apply" makes a few guys feel inadequate?

I’d imagine it’s insecurity, size could be seen by men as a measurement of masculinity etc, the fear that they aren’t equipt to satisfy a woman breeds a need for reassurance. I’m no psychologist though.

The penis is the physical embodiment of what it is to be a man.
Men are supposed to be big strong and potent.
So having a big strong potent cock is more manly.
If it’s small and floppy then this must mean your less of a man, at least in the minds of men.

In a fab context, a ladies interest in size maybe why they mention it, not because it's explicitly stated on your profile in any way. But it could be through pure innocence of wanting to please you and you not being disappointed on a meet. At the end of the day, the mutual attraction is what makes meets so good. I guess asking for specific dimensions for a vagina would be seen as a little odd? Whereas it's perfectly acceptable to request dimensions of a penis and case aside those who dont meet them?

I think as it's a prominent (as in it sticks out) part of the anatomy then it's an instinctive thing to compare sizes, or make note of a particularly prominent one, in the same way as we might notice someone with a big nose, or sticky out ears etc - and that's something that usually starts at school - can certainly remember the changing room jokes and sniggers about a friend of mine who was particularly large.
The thing is though, as we mature and realise that size really doesn't matter most of us move on and just accept what we have and that there is nothing we can do about it - which is what I have pretty much always done since those early school changing room moments.
Trouble is, for some, especially on a site like this, it's easy to fall into the trap of believing they are somehow inadequate when they see something that they perceive as bigger or better than their own - same as a lot of guys get hang ups about performance because so many on here talk about how they can go all night without cumming or repeat at will etc etc

This is what I think it is personally. If we think how much the body positive movement has told women to embrace their bodies for what they are in the last few years. There hasn't been that equivalent drive for men, you've only got to see the cover of men's health to see what is deemed the ultimate man according to the media.
I may be talking utter nonsense though mind, I just think men are under more pressure about their appearance than us women give them credit for.
