Hey guys, it's been a while. So I dont expect people to come out and say it here... but I'm wondering whether there are any ASD people on the site and I'm wondering whether they had found difficulties before they got to where they may be now, and if they did what they were and how they may have overcome it.
I ask because I'm confused. I'm a confident good looking guy, yet I struggle immensely with socialising. I'm unsure whether this is me so to speak... or whether it's a change in the expectations and attitudes people have towards relationships.
I dont judge people for their looks or opinions I sit and process stuff and I think people especially my age and younger see relationships on s shallower level than say 10 years ago.
Apologies if this is a little deep for the lounge. Just curious |

Hi op
, sorry not asd , but have two Cousins who are, and I know one of them for sure analyses everything and watches everything, this is part of his autism , , I don't know much about how they deal with it personally, but my one cousin has got his Bachelor of arts degree , and he doesn't really interact with other people either, as as you know the spectrum for autism is very large and wide and varied, it is a tough one ,,
Good luck to you in the future |

There most certainly is.
There has been a fair few threads discussing this very subject.
ASD is something that makes my life a bit different and at times difficult.
I do struggle on the forums sometimes as I don't do or see grey areas, it is or it isn't and I don't let things drop. This at times has caused a bit of friction which others.
But on the whole people are very supportive. |

I’m a mother, sister, cousin and daughter to people with autism. So there’s a lot of us on here that understand the challenges that people with ASD have.
Good for you and others to join this site.
