That last thread moved quick !

I used to say you were all definitely keeping me out of mischief, now you are all keeping me occupied, a very welcome distraction

I’m truly flattered by the kind comments from those who have already received their drawings, if it makes you smile, my job is done

If you’d like me to draw you, say so below and I’ll pick one of your photos that inspires me

When I’ve finished I’ll PM it to you, so if you have filters on or I don’t match your preferences, please don’t request as I won’t be able to send it to you. Although it’s sometimes possible to find a work around - but nothing always so end up with drawings unable to be delivered.

Note - if you’ve only got dick pics I won’t be able to draw you, or indeed anyone that has just graphic images, sorry just not my thing

Current list to follow, patience needed but I do get everyone done eventually

If you are happy with the drawing that is what matters. I draw as it relaxes me but the added bonus of the recipient liking it and making them smile makes it

Got home from work tonight to find my picture waiting in my inbox. Chuffed to bits with it! The more times I look at it & take in the detail, the more it makes me smile. Thanks Shorty!. X

It's something that will always remind me of a strange time in all our lives during lockdown, but I will always think of my pic in a positive way, in that it was something good to look forward too, plus drawing it helped somebody else navigate lockdown too. So grateful, can only admire a talent in Shorty I could never replicate! Thank you so much. X

You are very welcome Gemma, I’m glad you like it and it’s making you smile

Your kind comments made me smile. My sketch books will definitely be a reminder of this strange time, one because doing the drawings has kept me going and a purpose; and two I honed my style and can see the definite change in my drawings.

Maybe it is because I can truly zone out, without having to worry about the usual stresses of daily life that would be about otherwise x

As for the balloon, that was a first for me, the only way I thought I could show the transparency was to make it slightly see through, so I used my modest imagination

It certainly was a challenge, as so much darker and a different style to what I normally draw, but it all came together eventually and I’m chuffed at how it turned out. Look forward to the next challenge

People are a challenge and I didn’t start until last July and let’s say I look at those early ones and think ‘jez how can people like that’ lots of alien fingers, misshaped faces and body parts. But practice, practice, practice and you’ll eventually find your way. I’m still learning and apologies get issued with some drawings, especially faces

I’m truly flattered by the kind comments from those who have already received their drawings, if it makes you smile, my job is done
