I am extremely shy and everytime i go to clubs i have the sensation i'm the most shy person there . People always notice is quite intimidating. People they aproach me all the time very friendly and things always end putting a smile in our faces but before everything ends the word i most get told is "wow" 
In my case probably be so shy is what call people's attention i would say

A general comment related to my profile is usually a good start for me. If the comment also includes something specific which demonstrates they have actually read my profile and want to discuss further, that’s a bonus. |

It's always annoying when someone says their outside your house. The amount times I've had to say to people, "sorry I'm not in atm, I'm just finishing up burying the last weird stalker that was outside my house, can you give me 10 minutes while I clean my shovel?"
