Is a killer and in the last few weeks I've had my fair share of this which is now thankfully and happily resolved.
So ladies and gentleman, other than the obvious, what is your favourite way to de stress |

For me, I play back laugh out loud moments on my DVD Recorder; either whole programmes or snippets/one-off scenes which really touch my funny bone!
Yes, I've seen it all before, but I still have a good giggle. As the old saying goes, "laughter is the best medicine!" |

I punch the crap out of a punch bag, imagine its the person causing me the stress. Works great for me.
I've recently found running/jogging/walking fast also works. Started out with interval training at the gym, now I've realised once I get to 1.8km all the stress just melts away. |

Depends on what's brought on the stress to what method will help you De stress . Go gym for a high cardio workout . Knock the shit out of a punch bag. A darkend room and some chill music on. Watch your favourite film that makes you laugh. Enjoy a nice walk out beach, woods, countryside. Go for a massage or some beauty treatment. Spend time with friends talk about it don't bottle it up. Run yourself a nice deep bath with bubbles and candles on the side and some soothing music. Get ya toys out have a good wank and fall asleep wouldn't wish bad stress on anybody. Had it been down there don't want it again.

Spa day or go to a salon and get a couple of nice relaxing treatments. Dont know about you, but when I'm stressed I neglect how I look, so it's kind of nice to start looking after that kind of things. New haircut, new outfit. If you look in the mirror and look better sometimes it makes you feel a bit better in yourself. All the best x |

I'm off to the hairdressers next week and gonna have a change (again) went from Ice blonde, too pale, to bronze and copper, to darker blonde to brown, think gonna go back to blonde and have it chopped short again
Then off to my fave photographer for some new pics. |

I don't suffer from stress, never have. I'm not very empathetic so other people's problems don't have an impact on me and as for my own problems, I've always held the belief that without too much human interference things have a way of working themselves out one way or another eventually.
If I can't change something I'm sure as hell not going to worry about it. |

I've had a very stressful last 12 months. I usually go for a walk on the beach and listen to the sounds of the waves. That helps. If not I pick up the Xbox controller, play modern warfare and kill some twat in the game!!! |

For me, it's recognising the indicators that stress levels are getting higher, and preventing things getting to a less healthy position. So I aim to take action at that point, whether it's just reducing what I'm doing, doing other things, or stress relieving pursuits.
If stress is too high, then I ensure that I've got support from others and also ensure that I treat myself, whether to massage, beauty treatments, trips somewhere - in fact, I do think we should treat ourselves regularly, with special things. If we act as if we're our own best friend, then we can listen to what we think is right for us, and make sure that we give to ourselves. |
