So it was stir fry for tea tonight made from scratch. Everything chopped & ready to cook including CHILLI...wash of the hands then popped to the loo You can guess the rest!

What lessons have you learnt/been reminded of when you knew better?

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I did the same once, but didn't wash my hands before going to the loo.

Certainly brought a tear to my eye!

Oh no!!! Reminds me of a first meal out with a girlfriend’s parents years ago for a curry where I ate a whole chilli pepper garnish thinking it was a bean, then proceeded to try and stay calm while my head slowly exploded.

You're not the only one whose done it, if that's any consolation. That's one thing you only do once

Traditional pre match routine before playing football lots of deep heat on legs then scratched my balls just before kick off. Worst game I’ve ever played on my life ??

I have a permanent burn mark at the base of my penis after some very hot oil escaped the baking tray whilst I was cooking naked.....

Never have unprotected naked cooking

Sometimes U.K

My dogs love to jump in mucky puddles, then I usually forget they shake their coats and cover me in mud

OMG I did the same thing the first time I went to a proper curry house, I just sat there not knowing what to do with myself, I’m sure steam was coming out if my ears

I was forging some tools earlier from some scrap steel so I can start forging nails.

Did a hot cut on a punch I was making and the excess dropped onto the floor, totally fine. Until I forgot about it and stood on it, took until I smelt the bottom of my shoes burning for me to realise

Got anyway very lightly!

I’ve also grabbed hold of steel that I’ve been working on that’s lost it’s colour and gone grey again, had a couple of nasty burns
