Years ago I owned a jvc RV B90 portable stereo, I guess you'd call it a ghetto blaster. The sound quality was unbelievable as was the bass.
It became defunct years ago, now I'm looking for a replacement, I bought it's new modern version, the RV NB300DAB. Build quality cheap and the sound quality terrible. It's been on for less than 10 mins before it went back in the box for a return.
Can anyone suggest a decent portable peice of kit, looking to spend around £300. For those that are familiar with my first purchase you'll understand the volume of sound I'm looking for (and the quality)

Hopefully someone can help you.
While they’re at it, I’ve got loads of cassettes from my youth I need to listen to again sometime, any recommendations for a decent cassette deck too? |
