Would most of you living in cities in the uk, stay local on nights out rather then go into the middle of the town/city for eg, if living in liverpool and you lived near aintree racecourse, would you stay in that area rather then go into liverpool city centre. |

I've bounced in Altrincham millionaire triangle and the cool kids disappeared at 12ish into Manny Town as they called it .
Open all night and 15 mins away so don't blame them |

Depends. I prefer to go into Liverpool but there are some interesting places close to me that I enjoy.
Liverpool just tends to be easier when I'm meeting up with friends; there's usually more choice and really interesting stuff going on. |

I live in the outskirts of Derby city center, about half hour walk away, I go into the city on a night out, mainly for a particular rock club.
Not been in ages though due to a busy swingers clubs schedule before lockdown |

Same here. Somehow a night on the town just seems better when you've arrived by boat. |

I used to live in Kensington in Liverpool (better known as Kenny) this was about a 20 minute walk to Lime Street the edge of the City Centre.
So I never really went into the City I preferred Bold Street and the bars around that area. A bit of a student area but away from the Tourist hotspots and Scallies |

Nothing sometimes better than going to a local when your out of town as some cracking guys and girls. Occasional not good but sometimes you just get a great night by accident |

"My city is terrible for nightlife so when we go out we tend to go to over cities (Birmingham or Norwich is awesome for that) "
Sometimes it’s the company that makes a good night. Can be in the worse place but the best company can make a great night. |

There is zero where I live unless getting a cab back as trains and buses are useless.
When back in Essex I'd stay within about 20 miles depending on how many of us are going out.
In my raving days I'd go out to London etc and come back around 6am |
