Surely that depends on the person you are meeting and under what circimstances. Id travel anywhere if the connection was there. But wouldn't travel far for just meaningless sex.

Local for those of us in a rural area can be 50 miles

50 miles at least. We wouldnt change our rural location for anything else though.

I'd say within 20 miles is local. I only swim if I have to.

I won't play in my close local area, he has to at least 10 miles away from me, I like him the further the better as I can plan a fun weekend away then

a quandary, could you change my mind?

Distance isn't the problem, its normally time / timings that get in the way.

Now .. well it would be distance 2m being a problem, time well have plenty of that unfortunately, travel well another problem.
