With time on our hands and fingers hovering over the Amazon 'Buy Now' button, what unusual purchases have you been making during lockdown?

My kids thought it most unusual at my buying an air pump, seeing as they're past the age of paddling pools. What they didn't see, was my previous purchase of a body slide massage mat - in the ever hopeful wish of this lockdown easing |

I've been waiting nearly 2 weeks for replacement parts of new shed we bought and still hasn't arrived. Now, I'm normally a patient guy, but it's certainly testing now |

I'm assuming the blender isn't for the bathroom too... |

"Spontaneous purchase ...
Hot tub ... being delivered in 2 weeks
I hope my invite is in the post
Well ... lock down rules and all that ... "
It's fine, the post takes ages at the moment so by the time I've received your invite and returned my RSVP, lockdown will be lifted |

Not Amazon but got sucked in by a Facebook add for a shower head that allegedly was designed to increase the power of your shower - a week or so later it arrived and actually decreased the pressure compared to the existing shower head (which is pretty lame anyway) - mercifully a well written email later and they agreed a 50% refund and let me keep the shower head (they offered a full refund if I returned it at my cost - but given the cost of postage to China the difference was about the same). |

No unusual purchases, but I did get sucked into bidding war on eBay, for some mixed buttons. Not going to say how much I paid for 500 mixed buttons, but some of them are really cute and unusual. |

None. I am actually being really good and only buying what I need. Decided to save some money whilst I can't go out spending. After all, I have nowhere to go that requires a new dress and new shoes.
I can be a good girl when I want to be |

I bought some new lounge clothes recently from M&S so I wasn't working in my PJ's, who would have thought legging could be so constricted that they were cutting on my blood and breath supply, whilst making my stomach look flat!
My god they must be really firm control wear |

"Drum kit. Can't play but love the drums.
Brilliant. Will you be learning to play and entertaining the neighbours?
Love a good paradiddle! " probably just muck around on them for now - I've been learning piano for about a year so will focus on that, my brain is not clever enough for both!
Thankfully don't have any neighbours to annoy with my racket! |

"We bought a chocolate Labrador pup called Ollie. He’s gorgeous but he’s eating the house!
Oh my...I think you win! CUTE"
He is but he sees literally EVERYTHING as food! The coffee table, wallpaper, skirting boards - everything! |

Mix up spices from the cooking cupboard with water to form a paste and put it on where he’s chewing eventually you’ll find something he doesn’t like usually either cumin or ginger will stop him chewing the things you don’t want him to chew |

A push up board where you switch the handles around to work different muscle groups while the gym is shut, some of the positions are absolute graft!
Also a new jet washer, one of them K'archer window vacuums, and various games for the playstation and PC. I'm still working full time from home so it's not like I'm bored, but still need to fill weekends |

"Sea-monkeys arrived yesterday from Amazon addressed to me.
Checked my order history and never ordered them.
Help.
"
Omg they used to be advertised in childhood comics, waited in huge anticipation only to be hugely disappointed as with every comic advert or most giveaways |

I also bought a soda stream back in March and I bloody love it, best purchase ever.
High juice cordials are great - Apple and Apple & mango are current favourites but fizzy vimto is the dog's bollocks.
Have fun! |

Lots of new and revisited hobbies it seems, judging by peoples' purchases.
I know I've bought myself a bike, a ukelele and am refilling my stash cupboard with fabrics and patterns ready for a sewing extravaganza at some point!
I wonder how many of us will keep up new hobbies when things go back to normal, and how many will be sticking everything on Gumtree! |

Search online for Sodastream Genesis...they don't advertise it on their proper website but it's half the price of their others! |

Tesco apple and mango is a ringer for J20. Even better icy cold and fizzy.
Even better still with a shot of rum. |
