Anyone interested in a fun no filter challenge.
No voting or anything, just a space where people can share their unfiltered pics safely, and be appreciated in all their raw natural beauty |

"My profile pic is #nofilter x"
To be fair, mine are unfiltered too, except for the odd one where I want a cool effect, but it was a challenge running in another site that shall not be named on here, and I thought it was a nice idea, to celebrate the beauty of our bodies |

I don't even black and white my photos, I'm too lazy for that. But yes, my photos are unfiltered - a combination of poor lighting, my old crap camera phone and my incredible skills add the difference to them. |

This is great. It's lovely that everyone is so comfortable with themselves, that they don't use filters .
Maybe it's just a (insert site which shall not be named but it starts with an f) thing? |

Ah no. I do use filters sometimes but either I make it very obvious because it highlights something in the picture like my glass wine for the challenge another week or I keep it as close to nature as possible so someone doesnt expect super tanned chick when I'm pale . But we also need to remember use of different lighting and shadows which can alter the picture without use of filters but might look like one. That goes for quite few of mine. |

Lighting is always the key ingredient. It’s the main thing I think about when taking photos (not just the pervy ones on here but out there in the real world too). Still learning so much about it |

It's really interesting to see the difference between here and the other site.
Lovely to know our many are unfiltered on here.
Or if filters are used, they aren't to alter appearance etc... |

I use lighting filters all the time, the key thing to remember is that as much as a camera can make you look better it can also make you look 10 times worse. The light can’t grow my cock or my muscles but it can make them stand out better, just like they would if you seen me in a club or something

The true leveller here is the hope to meet people that you’re talking to eventually.
Having a photo that’s been filtered and edited to within an inch of its life is going to lead to disappointment in real life. |

Grrr
It's like it's too good to be true. But you know how to take a good pic and catch a great light. That's some skill. X"

No filters on any of ours, don’t see the point, if your looking to meet surely people want to see you how you are in real life, think I’d worry to meet someone who only had filtered pics as seen them on people’s whattsapp and look nothing like them lol |

Aha.. privileged me! X
Its just the picture. Seems too good to be unfiltered which just proves my point of clever application of light.. I know you wouldnt do filters so not questioning that. X |

There and to the left a bit |
Out of interest have just uploaded the original version of my last three public pics completely untouched (with one exception that has been cropped to remove background clutter) - apart from the obvious (b&w/vignette) I don't think there's a great deal of difference to be seen between them and the version I originally uploaded |

I alter colour and lighting on mine and the odd background blur, but I can’t stand using filters like snapchat as they make everything really flat and unnatural looking! Smoothing everything beyond recognition is not a good look |

I change the lighting and add some grain into my photos but never alter my appearance! Oh, well my face isn't pixelated in real life I'm sorry to let you know.
My current profile photo is straight out of the camera roll, no filters and in my garden! I'll try to do another one later when my little one naps. |

"How do you even do a 'filter'? I've an iPhone and all I can do on that is portrait mode where it blurs the background."
Just some basic tips.
Pick your picture from your camera roll.
Choose ‘edit’ top right.
At the bottom of the screen are 3 icons that access functions to perform basic editing tasks such as changing to B&W etc.
Just above them and below the picture is a slider bar of icons for more detailed editing. Move the icons left and right to edit a specific feature.
Top right, there’s three dots ‘...’ that enter another menu ‘mark up’ that allow you to add text and watermark your photo.
Choose a picture.
Have a play.
Good tip is to duplicate the picture so that you don’t lose the original.
Have fun. |

It is a bit rude to send pics with filter, specially if they are the only face pics you are sharing. We don't post pics with filters, because we want people to have proper expectations. I know for sure that, in person, moving about and talking, we look even better than in our pics, so it is better for people to exceed their expectations, than to be disappointed. |

You can use apps such as ps express or Snapseed if you want to.
Useful if you do want a funky filter, or I use it to rub out my tattoo |
