My nan’s spare room.

Big or small I love a nice soft dumpling dripping with special gravy.

Solihull

I love the foreign ones like Thai but find ours boring and bland (mind you it has been about 20 years since I last tried them)

Only people that grew up in absolute poverty in the 60's even know what a dumpling is, its looser food!

Maybe so, but still taste great.

By looser do you mean they cure constipation.

British dumplings are great. Bang in some herb seasoning and they are even better. I always have them when I make Irish Stew or more recently oxtail stew Caribbean style. Although I cheat and buy the dumpling powder

There and to the left a bit

Been a while since I got my mouth round any dumplings Fiddles but they definitely benefit from the addition of a decent thick gravy

Last time I had dumplings was in Prague a year ago. They have dumplings with everything, but they aren’t a patch on homemade ones. I must get round to making them one day.

visiting the beach

Funnily enough, I made a sausage casserole at the weekend. With some lovely onion dumplings. SR flour, suet, water, salt, chopped onions, none of that pre-mixed cheating stuff for me.

My grandson had about 3 bowls, so couldn't have been too bad!

I put my hands up.

After a period of introspection and looking at the state of the kink scene (pre-lockdown) I decided that I would put the dom part of me in hibernation.

I am currently taking an online course on how to be a "True rapscallion" it has modules on rope and impact for extra credits, but has cheating in making dumplings as an obligatory part of the course.
