"You write some weird stuff Queenie but you've outdone yourself with this. Tomato sauce should never be considered with. Macaroni cheese. They shouldn't even be in the same sentence."

Never understood why mac and cheese had cut tomatoes and grated cheese on the top. Then grilled to create this impenetrable layer of gloopy shit!!!
Also. Mac and cheese as a side dish to a burger or ribs, why?? What are the Americans looking at??

"No lol but I through extra cheese over the top "
I put cheese in the sauce, then grated cheese in with it then put it in the oven. Take it out half way through and add more cheese, then when it’s ready add more |

If you use an egg whisk when making the white sauce, it helps stopping the flour clumping,.
I tend to make 1kg of macaroni cheese at a time and freeze it for lunches.
1kg macaroni
2 litres milk
1kg cheese
500g butter
500g flour
And yes, tomato sauce is the only addition.
No bacon, no tomatoes, and definitely no PEAS!!
Try mixing in spiralli pasta with the macaroni. |

"Nope.
Add chopped bacon, onions mushrooms and garlic with a splash of Hp or daddies brown sauce with extra grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper and you will never have it plain again.

My mum does the best one. When she puts the cheese on top she puts a smiley face in Red Leicester cheese so it’s a ‘smile for your tummy’
No one laugh at me. I haven’t seen her in weeks and I miss her so much |

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
I know of a few people who have ketchup with their roast dinner, spaghetti bolognese, pretty much everything. I have been known to splash ketchup onto Chinese takeaway rice or chow mein from time to time. |
