Hit and miss for me. Loved The Office and Extras but having just watched After Life series 2, there's hours of precious isolation boredom that I'll never get back. |

I kinda like him apart from his banging on about his atheism all the time , if he’s so secure and happy in his weird beliefs why does he feel the need to attack others beliefs including writing it into his scrips, I think he’s a little spiritually insecure.
Also he reuses his characters too much across programmes a bit lazy especially as he’s being paid twice for the same character
But that aside, he’s really funny and tackles good subjects with well written comedy, he’s a game changer. I loved Derek , thought After Life is OK and liked his Speech recently at the Oscars or whatever it was.

"Literal genius or idiot who should be sent to Room 101,personally i like his stuff, think it's cleverly written, and he seems to be all over netflix "
Love his stand up stuff not a fan of his TV shows find them depressing.
I think he is a very quick witted comic with a razor sharp mind. |

"So not my sense of humour, I find he makes me cringe at times Totally agree about cringing, but some how adds to fun for me ?? "
Not for me, I need to properly laugh and feel lost in the humour |

Do you call Ricky by his surname because you used to teach him? |

I saw him once in a David Brent comeback programme where he had a band. That was excellent.
I didn't enjoy The Office ( I don't work in one) ..."looking to the heavens with thanks"!
I have also not enjoyed anything else I've seen him in.
A one trick pony in my opinion.
Give me Groucho Marx any day! |
