Worthing

Hi,having a really tricky time getting on to fab and it keeps coming up that they have a temporary fault, unable to ascertain whether I've removed parental restrictions. Does anyone else have this problem or is it because in out in the sticks?!

I sometimes have that problem but when I call them they say its when they can't identify me and rather than risking let a kid see adult they block me

Literally just tried it after reading this thread and currently have the same issue so maybe it is something in the south with their systems playing up.

Mine is saying....

Unfortunatley due to a temporary fault we are unable to confirm if you have removed Content control. As a precautionary measure, Content control has blocked access to this site until your status can be confirmed. Please try again later.

You do have to ensure that parental blocks are off, but as others say, it does seem to be a network fault.

Opera mini is a great mobile phone browser, especially as it reduces the amount of data used up. Can also synchronise your bookmarks etc, from your pc, if you use their pc browser too.

If they have a network block, I'm guessing any browser shouldn't work though.

Not had any problem with my HTC Desire Z using Opera Mobile and Opera Mini.

Only issue is that it sometimes goes to the mobile site, which I don't particularly like!

I had problems yesterday and never have before,

It came up with a parential control notice i rang voda and they said that they were updating their servers.

Tried again two hrs later and all was fine.

So i think its an issue with their servers and updates.

Mine is a BlackBerry and just checking i now have the same problem again

Its ok on WiFi as your by passing Vodafone. I have got Vodafone to permanent block my sons internet so he can't use it while out and about but I have set it up so he can use my WiFi so don't end up with massive bill

vodafones parent restrictions are awfull, to avoid everything in the browser type in the website address instead of using google or serch engines and you should get no problem
