Doing the opposite a good ale can be quite cheap and very tasty, plus for £6 at Asda you get 4 bottles so a nice choice. But £6 red or white can be medium bodied and a bit weak.

2.25 litres of Soave is £12.50 at Asda, lasts me a couple of days. I'm partial to a decent ale however

Like red but it doesn't like me so always very chilled white, anything but Chardonnay almost, less taste the better really

I have a box in the fridge and a box of Cab Sav as well, agreed good value
