Well well I managed 10km this morning - split in to 4.75 and 5.25 splits with 10 min rest between. I had completely misjudged the temperature outside and even running in shorts and tshirt I had to rest as was overheating

However I managed it!!!! The time excluding the rest was 1 hr 9 mins and 12 secs - a bit slower than I would have liked but I managed it. Anyway time to improve my fitness to complete 10km in one session with no rest.

Middlesbrough or Ullswater

Just trying to get back in to running after a bit of a health shock. Started doing the NHS couch to 5k program and hadn't realised how unfit I was. On week 6 so starting to build the stamina side of things. It's tough going but hopefully worthwhile in the long run.

My last run of the week 5km in 30.12 I would have loved to get under 30 but that’s fine

Well done y'all I'm running this evening. I'll see how I'm feeling around ten miles but would like to do 13-15.

8m30s miles is good for me but probably more like 9m miles later

Don’t know about anyone else but this lockdown has worked miracles for my running. A good 10 secs per km off my “steady” pace in the last two months.

Not sure if it’s more consistent running or the fact that I’ve discovered the joys of yoga so I’m less inflexible and a bit stronger in the core
