Another site, not a million miles from here, each and every day claims to have, on average 300 new members .....
Does anyone think that this is possible ?
Based on a bit of crude maths, it means that every year the site has 109500 new members.
Granted there will be a lot of people who create a free profile and never follow it up, but 300 in every 24hrs ?????
Seems like a tall order really ... |

If the site is world wide then it is possible but unlikely. In my personal experience and observations alot of these profiles (especially on paying sites) are false and thats what makes up the numbers. There are profiles made up by timewasters, there are profiles made up by men pretending to be women, women pretending to be men and profiles created by the company themselves to get people to part with their money. I would say a large majority of most sites contain made up profiles and timewasters so high numbers of new members is a possibility.
