There are regular chatters, but this is or was, anyway, primarily a site for people to meet and have sex (Terms & Conditions Applied).
Chatting to "meet when this is all over but we don't know when if ever that might be and then we'll be afraid to anyway" is a bit different.

I'm on here today for the first time in ages as I've got a day off work. To be honest I go through phases with the forum and the moment I find it is reflecting a society that is in the main bored and restricted in what they can do. |

Speaking of which, its interesting to discover how sometimes people differ between their forum persona and in private messages. Not you GM. Just makes me reflect on recent stage analogy cited by F&B.
Its usually a good surprise though

Forum persona/PM persona/In Person persona can vary wildly - and sometimes the sweetness and light that is presented to the world can hide a much darker side or different story that takes time to see for what it really is.
But that's the same with anything not just here - you can never truly know someone via an internet site, or even in person knowledge - so you have to trust your instincts and be able to identify those presenting a true and genuine image of themselves |

I'm chatting about the same, but I've no interest in talking a man off so when you get two messages in and they're asking for photos or cam or a detailed description of my fantasies I tend to lose patience.
That tends to be when I go from "sexy bb, luv ur tits" to a frigid fat bitch (or in one case a manorless fat cunt. He had a point, I'm fat and certainly don't have a manor. He wasn't appreciative of the spelling correction, sadly).

Because in many cases peoples lives are changing, and not always for the better.
People are nervous, fearful, tentative and in some cases quite frightened to see what the future holds.
Some are fighting a daily battle to eat, to keep a roof over their heads or to stay semi sane.
Some really don't like the dark clouds that the future will very probably bring
