Lockdown Grooming routine

So you can’t get out and socialise x

You are stuck at home x you may even be self isolating x

How important is it to maintain your “normal” grooming routine x

I’d like to share a few thoughts and welcome yours x

I normally have my back waxed every 8-12 weeks - it’s now week 12 and it’s driving me mad x

I get my eyebrows trimmed monthly at the barbers and often use tweezers to remove any grey / stragglers x they get a wax and a shape every time I go for a back wax

Normally I’m smooth where it matters x but this has been less important in lockdown until this week in the shower I had a proper trim and shave x

I sometimes clipped my arms and legs and use hair removal on my fingers and toes - I haven’t bothered for two months and I probably won’t anytime soon

My hair is easy to keep short so I’m lucky

However on the flip side I’m definitely going to experiment with with a silver /platinum hair dye x

Vanilla work life wouldn’t allow it x but I’m thinking what the heck - il do it this weekend after I raid the B and M hair dye aisle x

So what grooming routine have you stuck with and what have you not bothered with x and is there anything you are experimenting with whilst locking down x

I've been very lazy with my normal routine

On the plus side my hair is getting used to not being washed and dried every day

Your hair will thank you for it afterwards! X

Have you tried a high quality hair mask? X

I’ve managed to keep my legs smooth - probably cos I wear shorts quite a bit, and also my ‘bits’, but not really kept on top of every where else like I normally would, including my arms, eyebrows and back - but doesn’t take much to get back to when needed.

I know it's ridiculous as I'm not meeting anyone but I still keep my entire body completely smooth everyday including all my bits. I just hate having hair on me. Well apart from on my head and that's gone wild, it's a good job I can cover it up with a blonde wig

Worthing

Started shaving head and stubble to 0.5 grade once a week (usually visit barber for that). Will carry on doing it myself after lockdown.

I shave when it suits me. I'm tweezing my eyebrows more than I usually would.

Hair, I'm using lots of deep conditioning so I have options when I can get my hair cut.

I know a few people who are using lock down to grow out fringes x layers etc x so they can go for dramatic restyles afterwards x

I was thinking "pixie or grow it out" just before lockdown. If I decide the latter it'll be in good nick.

I've also eliminated all heat drying and styling, which helps
