It was what I would call a decent day. A friend came over with her daughter. Had a good chat on the door step. Kids laughed and did crazy things to impress each other. But not very productive. Oh well. There is always tomorrow. |

It was quiet in Oxford. Paid in cheques at Metro Bank. That was the reason for going to Oxford.
But the toilet in Metro Bank was closed. In fact every toilet in central Oxford was closed. As well as so many shops closed and everything else, that was another reason why there were few people about.
A busker with a sign saying he was homeless sang "Stand By Me" so I did and gave him a bit of money.
A group of three young women drinking beer went past. Two workmen sitting on a bench gave me directions to Watlington. |

Yes it's the BBC one. It's actually based on a book. I haven't read it.
I haven't finished it. But essentially it's a teenage love story that starts in school and goes beyond the school years.
Nostalgic because it reminded me of my own first love and some of the emotional struggles I faced. Trying to be cool in front of my mates whilst being a total dick to the girl who loved me.
