I did used to keep lots,japanese amd booted bantams and pekins. Havnt for a good few years as my garden isnt really big enough to cope with their scratching. I do miss them though. |

Ive just fenced in my veg patch and herb/flower bed and let them roam about in the rest of it |

When I used to live out in the sticks and had an orchard at the top of ma garden, ma next door neighbour used to keep his hens on my land. They used to keep the s down, he got free apples, pairs, plums, cherries, and I got free eggs |
