Good old Mr gates, I'm glad I use Apple.

try loading windows live messenger, to do this you'll need to delete( remove from programs via control panel) and go on web to messenger home page and reload from there. the new version download seems to have a glitch of some kind.
hope that helps you |

what you want is WLM 8.5 it bypasses the forced update to windows live 2009 (it sucks) just google msn messenger 8.5 |

IE8 isn't a beta version, it's the full version that has now been released for quite a while now.
If any websites dont show or work properly when using IE8 just use the built in compatibility mode, which can be found in the 'Tools' menu on IE8 and they will then be ok.
I have never had any problems using Windows Live Messenger 2009, just make sure you get the latest version from the MSN Homepage. |

our msn would not let us sign in un till we downloaded the new version , so could not just keep the old one
after doing this it would not let us install it , saying it might be due to our firewall
after faffing about for 2 days found the problem is you need to delete all your cookies sites visited etc etc
temporarily had to turn off msn firewall , and make sure msn updates were current
then reboot the pc , and all was well
a total waste of time , but had to do it GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR |
