I find that opening and closing my jaw helps me, although it doesn't work all the time.

Flying caused it. Have some the whole sucking, swallowing thing and blowing my nose etc have even taken some decongestants to see if that will sort it and nothing is working

try a steam inhalation,

bowl of water (hot) towel over head and bowl might move things around in there , ohhh a bit of essential oils might help too

I had this last year, ears went while on holiday in Egypt, gave it a few days when I got home then asked the nurse, she had a look said I had wax buildup. Had to put olive oil drops in for about 3 weeks till the wax softened enough to syringe....hope yours isn't that bad
