My new hub is coming in the next month and I dont know whether to start getting excited or not... |

Stop boasting lol.. I get 5mb down and 0.8 up.. lol
No fibre optic here..and no plans to have it yet either.. lol
if it rains I get even worse net.

Pretty much, 8mb is good for most things even streaming is good on 8mb, anything more is if your like me abd dowload alot thats where you see the big difference, |

mine is supposed to be the same as this..."
if you go on speedtest.net that will show what your currently getting, once the lines are upgraded you have to waitba few days/weeks for your account to be upgraded

mine is supposed to be the same as this...
if you go on speedtest.net that will show what your currently getting, once the lines are upgraded you have to waitba few days/weeks for your account to be upgraded

Im supposed to get 60 but actually get about 65 because there is no active choke on my line, they are great for fiber optic service |

We've been upgraded to 20mb apparently. Works fine on my lappy but Siren's iPhone (ptah!) is having trouble adjusting to the new improved speed.
Serves her right for buying the feckin thing.  |

Phones can only handle so much bandwith, you wont notice much difference |
