My husband used to surprise me with gorgeous lingerie, boxed with little beads inside.
I could see his excitement, which excited me. I really enjoyed showing them off for him.
He had good taste.
Guys, do you shop for lingerie for your partner? Is it exciting for you?

Someone bought me lingerie once. It was a nice set, I didn't like the cut of the pants, I felt they didn't flatter. I wore them for him a few times though. |

I did but soon realised that I was buying stuff more for me rather than for her. She preferred not to wear the things I bought so I stopped. Now I prefer women to wear what they like and feel comfortable in. |

I've never been surprised by having lingerie bought for me. Mr did treat me to a very sexy real leather outfit on our last filthy weekend away though. That was really kind of him and I thoroughly appreciate it, and love wearing it. |

I do, I totally love buying her gifts.
Lingerie occasionally and I’ve done alright with it.
I’ve bought dresses and all manner of clothing at some point but shoes are my passion when buying gifts for women.
The reactions I’ve had when I’ve gotten it perfect is priceless to me |

Oh I would do it if it was wanted or appreciated and would enjoy spending time understanding what was liked. I guess it depends whether lingerie is an interest. Sometimes functionality is more important. I guess it comes down to how you see it. |

MrD loves to buy me lingerie. He knows my style and never fails.

I spent a lovely afternoon lingerie shopping. A ramble round a big shopping centre with a friend. A visit to Ann Summers and a look round ( I couldn’t have done that with a previous significant other) so I was exited and grateful that this friend would share the experience with me and enjoy it as much as I did.
A few little looks (through the purpose made viewing holes in the changing room doors) later an outfit purchased together.
Some afternoon tea followed and then later in the evening a trip to Quest. I loved the moment she stepped out of the changing room and walked back to me in Quest.

Hubby has bought me stuff in the past, and sometimes we choose stuff together, I'll usually go shopping alone but send him WhatsApp pics from the changing room to see if he likes. But ultimately if I feel good in it I'll get it.

My partner buys me stockings and suspender belts/skirts because he likes seeing me in them. I don't mind wearing them for him because of his reaction and I know how much he enjoys it (even though I think I must look like dumbo with black socks on). Generally, no he doesn't buy me stuff. Clothing size wise I'm a bit of a nightmare and he knows it's safer to not try. |

Mr Adventure took me to Rigby and Peller in London to buy me underwear. Arranged everything and told me we were going. Really lovely experience and quality lingerie. Of course, he earned brownie points for that |

My friend likes to buy lingerie for me but the best is when shop on-line together for it while we're on a rest break. Its fun to discuss what we like and admire it on the model. Keeps the horny vibe going.
I view it as a gift we can both enjoy and fab frequently reaps the benifit too |

I don't mind shopping together for underwear (I've had some spectacularly horny shopping trips in the past, one of which ended with us getting a hotel room just because we didn't want to wait the hour it would take to get home), but the times a partner has gone solo and bought me underwear it's never been the greatest of successes.
I need to try a bra on, not all of them will fit or flatter, and I like to be able to feel the fabric on knickers to make sure the lace won't be scratchy or irritating.
I'm not sure guys really get how uncomfortable a bra can be if the cups are slightly small, or how little support is offered to big breasts if the band is slightly too big.
When someone has bought me stuff I've worn it for the time it takes to have it taken off me again, but it strikes me as a sad waste of their money - I'd rather buy my own. |

She was also curvy and busty like me so she chose very well. I think if my partner chose for me he may choose without the practical considerations us women often make when weighing up aesthetics vs comfort/practicality. I also worry he may buy the wrong size  . |

Love buying lingerie and other clothes and perfume. I expect most men buy it for those own benefit too! But there’s also other pleasures in the buying process itself and can be part of a nice D/s dynamic. |

I had an ex who wanted to take me shopping, it was really exciting,trying things on getting his opinion, then decision made, we came out of the changing area and I had to pay! He hesitated at the till! I thought he was treating me and had to buy it, I felt so embarrassed, as I couldn't really afford it. |

Fabric choosing only done that at pvc leather shops not at stores.
I can guess other people sizes to a degree, I tend to avoid that as it kinda makes them bright red.
If cashier says ooh that kinda looks loverly to wear, she tends to get would you care to model it for us
If cashier is naughty and full of it by giving it back they kinda get a little bit more in fun.

Before we married, my ex bought me a cashmere coat which was beautiful and I still wear.
When married, he never bought lingerie for me. He did buy me a blow torch one birthday, and a bag of bird seed for another....
I divorced him soon after. |
