lockdown beards... hows it going?

so i know a lot of blokes have decided that whilst in lockdown they would grow the fuzz.. just because they wanted to see what its like without the judgement..

so... hows it going....

i am working out that where i don't think i don't think the full on beard is working (still trying..bits at the sides are a bit patchy but still giving it a good go) actually i could do a not bad goatee....

so hows yours growth going?

I get as far as a week then it goes. Then repeat. I’m not trying to grow it, just pure laziness on my part, until the weekly dictate to shave it off it received!

You must have a lot of time on your hands then

There and to the left a bit

Have quit shaving or cutting hair for the duration mainly out of curiosity to see how it grows and how long it gets - already had a trimmed goatee anyway and a bit like you Fabio the bits at the side are patchy...the goatee part though is starting to get some length - about an inch so far - but is just retaining the shape of my chin currently.

Hair on my head is positively nutty professor/Einstein like though

Beards don't work with PPE. No beards in the NHS now!

My last shave was March 20th. My profile pic was taken last week showing 5 weeks' growth.

Grew my beard out until tonight; parts of it shape up nicely but other bits just get really messy and I’m too much of a neat freak with my hair.

So, out came the trimmers.

It’s going well. I shaved it all off on the first day of lockdown and it’s been growing ever since. I might not trim it until the mini beast is back at school.

Plenty of grey in there now too

It does take time especially if I have to do my back as well and both my cracks

The beard I can live with it’s the Donald Trump hairdo I’m struggling with

I'm still sticking with my pre-lockdown goatee. I've had it two years now and I still don't know if it suits me.

I’m actually growing my moustache to a full one than my usual line up (which I’ve done for years). That’s my usual look but the length of my beard is of course, longer than many but my sides are starting to become a little bushy with stray hairs.

Usually, my barber would sort that out but I’m trying to think if I was to trim the sides myself, with a trimmer. It should be alright isn’t it? Don’t know what blade to do!!??
