The honest answer is there are good and bad on both sides of the gender divide - just as not all men are vile creatures who send inappropriate messages etc, not all women are sugar and spice and all things nice either - despite the image they may try and portray.
Take individuals (regardless of gender) as you find them and you won't go far wrong   |

Well, I used to quite like men (or,at least tolerate some of them some of the time). Now I find out you're all spider killers, I'm changing my opinion. I'm siding with the cute little critters with hairy legs. (spiders that is not men). |

Men? Or spiders? I let them stay in the house as they keep the flies away. Not men,obviously. I wouldn't keep one of them indoors,they're notoriously difficult to house train. |

Very true - we men just tell each other to "fuck off" and are done with it...dramas I've had with *some* female friends though 
Not all I hasten to add - have some very good and dear friends of the female variety, where drama doesn't enter into anything too |

I have always got on better with men as friends. I guess having three older brothers meant I was more used to testosterone than oestrogen.
