"Are there any hairdressers on here who have some indication when salons will open again?. My mum said she read it will be another 6months but i am hoping she is mistaken."
I can be your hairdresser. I am jack of all trades! |

I am friends with two salon owners
Both accept that there will be nothing before July
And thats their optimistic side
Due to the nature of their role it could easily carry on being shut to Christmas
One is owner of a shop with 6 chairs and other one smaller 4 chair salon
Pm me if you have other questions and il message them |

My roots will need doing but as i have no idea what the hairdresser uses then i have no idea what to buy. Years ago i attempted to do it myself and it went purple. |

I'd be tempted to get a box dye online and just do it...Nice N Easy or similar....you shouldn't go far wrong.
My cousin who has long hair is in a similar situation and age swears by Loreal Magic Retouch. It's in a wee green bottle, spray on thingy...available in different shades and dead easy to use. |

This is what my hairdressers are recommending.
I'm fortunate that I don't dye my roots. My red is kind of faded but we're all in the same boat so it doesn't bother me much. |

Yes i am using the spray at the moment and it is great but if salons are closed for a long spell then i will need a dye. |

It's really good, the blonde one is anyway. I tried a cheaper version once, not so good "
Ordered. Dark brown for me.

It makes your head itch sometimes though "
Thanks for the warning. My skin might react sensitively so I will test it first. |

If you are blond x I’d suggest a toner product x
Won’t dye your roots but will give a healthy shine to your hair xxx
On my Apple news yesterday afternoon there was an article on when salons will open and it’s not anytime soon x |
