We all love significant others (well, I would if I had one).
But are they are help or a hindrance in getting stuff done.
Are they better of down the pub or beauty parlour ( them were the days) while you crack on?
Do you muck in together to get a job done?
Or is working together a pure headache?
Have you found a new found tranquility with them in lockdown or do they drive you as mad as ever? |

We split household chores. There's stuff he won't let me do and stuff he prefers not to. We both cook (hubbies home made Scottish lasagne with scratch made pasta is to die for). |

"I’ve certainly rediscovered how totally fucking amazing they are and that I’m a very lucky human.
As for getting stuff done... total hindrance "
When it comes to cooking, well.... that's my domain and he knows that. We both do.
As far as DIY goes, I'm a lot better than he is. He does make me the perfect cup of tea to keep me going. And puts mini eggs in the fridge for me. Teamwork. |

"Teamwork makes the dream work
We tend to get on and do things together. It feels good doing it that way. "
Working together is the key. Saturday night we "dress for. Dinner" and are both in the kitchen preparing.. Its a tradition we've done since getting together. Get dressed like we are going out for meal and make an effort even though we are stopping in |

He can iron and even use the washing machine haha. Stuff he doesn't allow me to do is anything to do with the bins, cat litter tray and cleaning the bathroom/toilet ("dirty" jobs). He does all the DIY bar decorating and looks after the cars |

There definitely is - I can't paint a kitchen so we're going to have to get a decorator in for that.
(I probably could but it is a lot of effort) |
