Silly question but what washing powder do you use? My mother switch to non bio which help my eczema as a child. |

There's a moisturiser that I get from Asda in the baby aisle that I use for my skin and my daughters. I think you can get from other supermarkets and boots. It's called Child's Farm. They do a shower gel and bath stuff as well. I found much better than the Dr stuff |

As already said use non bio and don’t use any softner wash all his clothes separately, Aveeno cream really was the only thing that helped my daughter and she had it really bad , the gp used to prescribe it for her but you can get it in the shops I’ve found Home Bargains the cheapest. Also have you noticed if it’s worse with certain food? |

Get some cotton gloves to put on his hands at nightime for the scratching. Can get them from Amazon.
The Dr suggested Aveeno with oats moisturiser but doesn’t help my son.
I plaster him in E45. We have a mild steroid cream from the Dr’s but it doesn’t help much to be honest. I do use Sudocrem also.
We use Fairy non bio too.
He has grown out of it mostly, just the odd flare up these days.

If creams doesn’t work, I would recommend looking into washing liquids, softener then certain foods/spices ... I experienced similar and found out I actually have certain allergies to some washing softeners and spices. When I changed/stop using them, all gone x |

My daughter is struggling to get her daughters under control she used child’s farm etc but nothing has worked ....in the evening as the itching gets worse she smothers her arms in a steroid cream then wraps her arms in bandages to stop her from itching it has improved since she has started doing it... |

I used to have it terribly when I was a kid. The only thing that helped was salt water (as in going in the sea) it stung like hell but used to go away.
As an adult I used to get it only when stressed but the Dr gave me a new emoliant and it works. I would try salts in the bath and then experiment with different creams x |

Child's Farm is great.. Has he been allergy tested? If not he should be. Try keeping a food diary to see if you can detect any triggers. Also try to make sure that household products are made from natural sources. Bathe in Aveeno (or put a few porridge oats in an old pr of tights and run under the tap as you run the bath) it really helps. And try anti histamine tablets too. |

I suffer with psoriasis and since having a sore throat and the stress of all this virus has made my skin flare up the worst it’s been since been a young teenager. I’ve not found much helped myself personally besides light treatment. I’ve just hired a specialist bed for an 8 week home treatment. I hope you find something that works for him. X |
