What will be your criteria?

Safe for you ?

Safe for your friends mum ?

Or told that it's ok by the government

Preston

I'm just going with the flow.

Whilst I'm in a situation where I'm more or less isolated then I'm happy to stay as I am. If outta deemed that I should be at work mixing with 1000s of people with no chance of social distancing them I will have no qualms about meeting people, nails, hair, friends etc.

I'm certainly not going to die from lack of sex.

I'm not even really thinking about it.

There and to the left a bit

Have no intention of meeting anyone whether that be people I've met before or new people, from here or anywhere else in my life for close personal contact until such time that I am as sure as I can be that it is safe to do so - which may well be until a vaccine is available or there is a known cure available if it is contracted

My life and that of others is far more important to me than sex

Because

You said you didn't want to risk the life of you or your loved ones

As it happens I dont think there will be a cov-SARS2 vaccine for years yet based upon data about its sister cov-sars1

I think it will remain as an active human virus for a long time

However back to as you and many others are now saying quite rightly

I dont want to risk yourself or those you love

I might suggest you may not want to infect you dont love either

However cov 2 is not the only nasty that could do that

It's your conscious that had been raised

The risk you declare you will not take has always been there and even when cov subsides you and all of us not practicing social restrictions and extreme hygiene rituals and practices WILL always increase needless death

My theory is

Social acceptance will be the dictating factor not the genuine bone fide statisticsl risk you will pose to society

Most of this will be as arbitrary as 6 ft 2 m (which are no where near the same)

And other half hearted efforts to pretend we are safer

If you are going to that extreme I will revert to the old saying.... I could get run over by a bus tomorrow

Everyone takes risks every day in their life picking up diseases and infections, that is part of life. However, as this is so new and spreads so easily, deadly to some of course it’s wise everyone takes restrictions until more is known about it.

If that takes a couple of years and you can go about your business as you always have knowing the risks are there for other diseases, it is down to the individual to get educated about it and tested regularly (if needed), no different than someone getting their sexual health checked every six weeks

Life is a risk but you have to listen to the warnings and do what’s required to ensure you don’t intentionally harm yourself or others.

I see your words as the world will stay locked down, never to interact again as a bit far fetched

Actually no

That's my point a lot of factors dont come into play

Dont want personally then stay home and when go out use effectively ppe that you have had fail safe training with

Cleanse everything delivered and bought

Ok

You dont mind getting it but

You dont want to pass it on or burden NHS

Same rules as above possibly forever

Ok you dont mind getting it

You dont mind everyone apart from friends and family

You stop being concerned about NHS

Then you can go out mingle freely however you cannot see friends or family without the extreme ppe

i Dont think it will be too much longer before things start moving forward People are already about more that’s just a fact. Most people that get corona will have mild or no symptoms ..sadly more impaired etc will fall prey but it won’t go on forever. Lockdown will ease up somewhat with restrictions then it will be business as usual ...the way of the world

You know that’s not sustainable right.... some sort of normality and living with this will have to return at some point. What that is no one knows, but it definitely won’t be everyone cooped up in their homes never to socialise, see family or work again

It’s true people are doing their best but eventually they will do more n more like we are already seeing. The world has to move forward it ain’t gonna be lockdown for years to come it’s just not going to happen let’s face it. No one knows when there’s gonna be a vaccine so what if we don’t have one for ten years ...come on be realistic. No the world is already opening up you just have to go to B&Q to see that. So many more people about than there were a couple of weeks ago. I wonder tho with all this disinfectanting happening will it rid MRSA in hospitals

Yep and if that's what it takes to wait to be reasonably certain then so be it - I'm not so desperate for sex that I'd put my life or others lives at risk for it.

Ultimately though it comes down to common sense and awareness just as it has before this all kicked off - you weigh up the various risk factors (and regardless of what anyone else might say they are there) available to you at a given time and make a decision based on them based on that awareness and common sense.

Right now I wouldn't meet anyone for love nor money - who knows what will be known in 2 months time, 3 months, 6 months, a year etc - my stance may change dependent on those risk factors - but it will still come down to a reasonable level of certainty that I am not putting myself or others at risk.
