The quickest to block?

Males or females?

Just been musing this.

Also what reasons would make you block?

Me - if they are plain rude or ‘fancy a f**k’ brigade...

I'd say probably women as they tend to get more crap than men however I think it's also more complex than that and will differ from person to person. It takes quite a lot for me to block somebody.

Probably women due to the sheer amount of messages they get. I can see how many become jaded and block for smaller reasons they might not have initially.

It takes a lot for me to employ the feature. I've only three people on my list. Two were very rude and one impossible to deal with normally.

If I’m not interested I delete and block (unless it’s a forum person I don’t) I just find it easier. I’ve never had any abuse that way I’m either.

Probably women judging by my own block list. It's huge but it's just easier and saves the abuse and earache.

I haven't yet been tested enough to make me push the block button.

I suspect that due to the numbers game ladies would be more likely to block than chaps who are in general more difficult to offend anyhow.

Women I believe.

Reasons:

Repetitive messages.

People I dont want to engage with in private messaging or at all. Making a point.

Those that dont take no, send abusive messages.

My block list mainly consists of people I know from a previous incarnation on here that I no longer wish to have contact with. As for the numpties, I find it far more amusing to just ignore them...a string of unread messages winds them up far more than a block

I block just about anyone once there's an established no attraction from after an approach. It saves any miscommunication moving forward

Women and couples tend to be quickest to block... I have started to block quicker these days too...

I only have one user blocked and that's a safety thing. Block can be a bit childish innit.....

I haven't yet had to block anyone. Polite but firm "get tae" has usually worked with persistent unwanted messengers

Blocked a few, normally the ones who do the repeat cut and paste messages. After a few of them over a couple of weeks its bye bye.

Oh and rude or obnoxious ones.

I would say women are quicker on the block button... but men do it too, but we take our time on it maybe a bit longer than females x

Women are far quicker to block. I rarely block, my list is quite short. The odd occasion I've done it - counterblocking, rudeness, no desire to engage further. It's a bit... well I don't know. Not a tool I use often at all.

Its women I have been blocked by women I havnt even spoken to before lol. But hey my block list is growing slowly since lock down the amount of men that message me asking if I would have sex with them a polite no thanks and they ask again and again then i hit block

No I disagree. It’s not childish. I do it if someone has a really strong opinion I find outrageous too. Just reminds me I wouldn’t be interested in them if they ever messaged. I find it easier and I see so many women moaning about getting abuse on here and how it sometimes upsets them. I don’t get that as I delete and block if I’m not interested. It’s nothing personal. Just a tool.
