I thought if I went to Tesco early this morning there wouldn't be much of a queue, I was wrong

This is the first time I've been to a supermarket shop since since covid19.

Never again its not worth the queueing.

Our local Asda opens at 8. I work nights and finish at 8 so was there for 5 past. The queue was huge despite it being a superstore. Man at door said folk had been queuing since 7.30.

It is crazy. I feel bad as I'm NHS and can jump the queue at times but people seem to genuiely plan their day around the queue for the supermarket

I can jump the queue too but only ever do it when tired after my nightshift. My poor mum who is 80 told me she enjoys queuing up as it enables her to talk to people because lately she hardly sees a soul.

Likewise only after nights or in an emergency. I've let people ahead as its not fair to let the elderly queue though clearly I've got it wrong as they seem to like to queuing!

Liverpool

Im lucky because I live on a main road so have a few stores and that only really headed to places like Asda, Tesco etc if I needed to a big shop but its been bedlam everywhere and my mate who works as sercuity has some horror stories of how people have acted during this lockdown.

It's down to them buggers who still feel the need to shop every day, which is what I used to do.

No its leave home at 9.25pm and arrives at aldi armed with a note at 9.30pm to get a weeks worth of shopping in around 20- 25 minutes. The shop is lucky to have 5 other customers in

Stay safe

Near Wellingborough

I went to my big asda about 7pm the other day, no queue. I think evenings are quieter than the morning. I know not everyone can do the evening though
