I think my love for them and mint imperials stems from when I used to visit my grandma on a Saturday afternoon
I also remember the candy sticks, me and school mates pretending to smoke and eating them...
You've also reminded me, I used to do litter duty at primary school. The school was set on quite a big plot of land so me and two others used to pick litter from around and the perimeter and when we;d finished, we got to pick 30p of stock from the tuckshop...that used to be enough for a small packet of sweets, some monster munch-a-likes and a carton of pop! |

Yes that’s right and each one was a different fruit flavour.
When I ventured up north earlier this year, managed to find orange and raspberry ones, I’ll need to stock up next time I make it that way |
