Are sex workers/club staff eligible for unemployment?

I was just wondering if the government is taking care of people in the sex industry?

This would include Sex workers , host/hostess, bar staff , and security....

In America gig workers are eligible for monthly unemployment payments and were given a $1,200 check as long as they filed a tax return....

We made sure all our citizens were taken care of....

Scunthorpe

Anyone can put in a claim for universal credit. People working in clubs would have been employed by the clubs, so will be treated like any other employee.

Different options available. Depends on whether they are registered as self employed or not as to which avenue they would take.

For bar staff/security (which aren’t sex workers...) they would be furloughed or able to claim JSA

Eh? Are you a member of the Senate? Is Chelsea the 51st state?

Donald is that you......?

I may be confused. Is it the queen? No I’m sure she would say “one is taking care of one’s citizens”.

Nancy?..............

Excuse my wording.... I meant sex industry....

The coat check girl at a strip club is considered working in the sex industry.....

Near Wells

I would imagine if the clubs are licensed etc it would be the same as any other business ie, bars, clubs etc.

If they're black market or underground then no chance.
