Seriously I did
The whole affair took less than 10 mins. She was just dropped in the hole. The priest said a prayer and that was it. 10 of stood around thinking ‘Jesus is that it’
Anyways stay safe folks |

I’m so sorry for your loss to you and your loved ones, and for the effect that this current climate has had on people being able to say goodbye to their loved ones x hugs x |

Thank you. It was hard deciding who could go and who couldn’t due to social distancing. This has caused the most stress |

Sorry for your loss OP hugs
A friend of mine experienced the same when he buried his mum this week. 2 of them at the graveside and everyone else on live link was over just as quick, a very surreal experience |

"I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope that you and your family are doing ok.
It sounds like an awful way to say goodbye.
Sending best wishes xx
Even the priest was embarrassed x"

As harsh as it sounds it was literally drop her in the hole, a quick ‘our father’, a one minute eulogy and that was it. It started at 9 and I was back in my house for 9:20 |

It does sound harsh and hard to watch
My mate is still numb from the experience as doesn’t feel like he got to say goodbye as so rushed |

I said my goodbyes as she died at home with everyone round her so in that respect it was good. Just a shame my lad (and others) couldn’t go due to the numbers allowed plus it was very much all rushed |

Sorry to hear that, it's just horrible that people can't bury their loved ones like 'normal'.
My friend lost her dad recently, she's decided not to go to the funeral because it meant that one of her kids couldn't go and she felt she couldn't ask any of them not to. |

This is what caused my mum the most stress by deciding who could and couldn’t go. My lad is only 4 so he doesn’t understand so he didn’t go but others felt a bit put out. |

"So sorry to hear this Mr M. It's also very sad that we can't give our loved ones a memorable 'send off ' and a lot of family and friends can't all come together to support each other.
Thank you "

Really sorry for your loss.... Maybe when we get through this surreal time you could have a memorial service for her family / friends to celebrate her life |

I think that’s the consensus that we’ve all agreed we’ll do, whenever that will be??? |

Sorry for your loss, one of the boys I know buried his mother today, she was 55 but had terminal cancer but also tested positive for covid19, only 10 people allowed at the funeral but when lockdown is finished there’s gonna be a memorial as she was a very very popular woman. |

Really sorry for your loss and for the day you've had.
Hopefully when this all over you'll be able to have a more fitting celebration of her life with all the family and friends. |

"Sorry for your loss. Always a hard thing to deal with, but especially so in these strange circumstances. Hope you're ok x"
It wasn’t so much her dying as she was very old more the drive through style burial. It was different |
